Rewarding of children’s drawings contest winners

The finale of children’s drawings contest, called “My warm ”, took place on the 18th of December in The Ukrainian House in the hall of Ukrainian time. The contest was devoted to the theme of energy-saving and was organized and carried out by The Alliance “The New Energy of Ukraine”. The Alliance was founded as a freewill initiative for providing the formation of energy-saving world view in the Ukrainian society in today’s conditions. The aim of the contest is to form the growing-up generation’s economic attitude to energy consumption.

The jury membership of the contest:

  • The head of the board of the Alliance “The New Energy of Ukraine” Valeriy Borovik

    The jury members, Ruslana and Valeriy Borovic, handed over costly presents to the winners of the contest. The winners of the contest “My Warm Ukraine” became:

    The first place – Marina Timoshenko, 15 years old, who drew a picture “Light of the Future” picture. Marina got a fully-complete computer. “The only thing I know about the warm is that it needs to be taken care of, - Marina admitted. – That is why I drew a girl that keeps a small light in her hands”.

    The second place – Nastiya Smolyaninova, 11 years old, with her drawing “There is a snow-storm out of the window, while here I feel like seating on the stove”. Nastiya got a mobile phone.

    The third place – Konstantin Ionts, 9 years old, with his drawing, depicting a smiling house with a tied scarf. Konstantin also got a mobile phone.

    And, finally, the fourth place was given to Nataliya Kukhtik, 15 years old, for her original idea of drawing a cat that plays on multicolored heating radiators. She called the picture “All are warm and all are pleased”. Nataliya got a mobile phone. As well, there was issued a new book “In search of the new energy” by Olexander Dermansky’s tale. This book was issued in Kyiv, owing to the idea and assistance of The Alliance and dated for the beneficent Christmas book trade-fair. The essential principles of energy nature and “domestic” ways of its saving are presented in an interesting and keen manner in this book for preschool and junior school children. The first thousand of books is handed over to the organizers of “Present a book to a child” action for the gratuitous spreading over the Ukrainian children’s homes and boarding schools.
